We went on vacation this past weekend so when we came back to see the house we noticed that all sorts of progress was made but more on that in tomorrow's post. 

We had the help of some AMAZING family members that came to help us paint today.  The room looks like it was painted by professionals.  Unfortunately, I forgot my camera and wasn't able to take pictures of all our helpers.  I did get a picture of Reese and Mason finishing up the last wall though.

Thank you again to Randy, Steve, Brett, and Janice for taking the time to help us paint our great room.

Paint was all around the house. 

The whole house has been painted white.  We were only able to take these 2 pictures because the air was too thick with paint fumes to stay in there too long.

There is now a mantle over the fireplace and it is strong enough to hold 2 cute kids.

More trim pieces went on today throughout the house.  Mason's room has all it's baseboards and door trim.

Our "giant" hall closet also has the trim pieces actually nailed to the wall along with the baseboards.

The stairs and the doors downstairs have been trimmed out also.

Not all the baseboards are attached yet but they will be soon since paint starts in 2 days!

Our tile has been installed!  Here it is in the mud room between the garage and on your way to the kitchen.

And the driveway.  As you can see, Mason has already been testing the speed he can get on the slight slope of the driveway.

BIG NEWS!  Floors are going in!

 Jaylee LOVES the house. Now that there are floors we can sit her down.  She loves to shout, bang her hand on the floor, and scoot around on her bum.

Those random yellow wires in the middle of the floor will give power to the outlets on our future kitchen island.

They also textured the ceilings.

 When we go to the house to see what has been done during the day we check out the garage to see what's in store for the next few days.  It looks like trim and doors are next!
