 The "under siding" (don't know what it is really called) is halfway done.

All the sheet rock has been put up and Mason was glad to see the "mess" of the construction was "all gone."

 

Here are a couple more shots around the house including the hall bathroom,  Mason standing in the hall, Mason's room, Jaylee's room, Master bathroom, the soon-to-be throne room, and where the double sink will be in the master bathroom.

Looks like the brick will be going on the house starting Monday.

The house has been hooked up to the main gas line.

As usual Jaylee's room is messy but not as bad as Mason's.

Our house is getting warmer with insulation!

Here's the kitchen all warm and toasty.

The orange marshmallow-looking balls is spray insulation to make sure the holes where the wires are punched through are air tight.

Great room insulation.

Power box in the basement.

The back and most of the south side of the house has siding.

Insulation in the garage in the walls that attach to the living area in the house.

Future wire for our doorbell...Ding Dong!

Slight difference in look of the front of the house.  There is a strip of white siding that will be the barrier between the brick and the siding.

We had our 4-Point inspection today. 

Basically, we went through with our General Contractor rep, Garrett, just to make sure that everything was going into the house according to the plans.  We had the inspection so that they could start putting up drywall.  

Everything checked out and drywall should be going in shortly!

There are now wires in the boxes that were put in yesterday.

There is wiring throughout the family room and the rest of the house.

Can lights have been installed out on the porch.

Looks like tomorrow we will have our electrical box installed with all the wires connected.

The outside looks about the same for now.

Can lights have been put in.

There's also a front door now.

Here you can see all the outlet boxes in the kitchen ready for the wires to be strung through.

We also have our first glimpse of siding.

Do you see Mason on his Gator heading to our new house?

Here he is heading down the street into our soon to be neighborhood.

Here's the first view we see of our house when walking up to it.

The fireplace has been put in and the framing around it has also been finished.

All the rough plumbing has been done as well.  We have tubs!

Here's our furnace downstairs in the utility room.

We also have the rest of the house wrap on and are getting ready for shingles on the roof.  Windows are also on as well as our post on the front porch.
